Contact charrell@netnitco.net for availability and details. 2008 Events Schedule Museum aircraft are often away at air shows and events, so if you are coming to visit the museum, please check our Aircraft Schedule Buckley Homestead WWII Reenactment - Lowell, IN  [ May 3 - 4, 2008 ] Lowell 2001 Photos Reenactment from the air 2nd Panzer Division Military Encampments U.S. Army Infantry with 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions Polish Infantry (speaking Polish) Canadian Infantry British Infantry and Airborne German 116th Panzer Division (speaking German) Equipment German and American Tanks German Panzerfaust (nicknamed "toilet plunger") and Panzershrek ("stovepipe") German BMW motorcycles with sidecars German halftrack American M-1 Garan, Carbine, and .38 "Grease Gun" Actor carrying "grease gun" portrays Frank Lillyman, first paratrooper to land on French soil Much, Much More! Aircraft Overhead 1942 L-2 "Grasshopper" Spotter plane with D-Day markings flown by IAM L-2 will search out enemy locations and report to Allied Command Indiana Aviation Museum's 1945 P-51D "Mustang" with D-Day markings will do strafing passes to counter German armor. Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival [ July 2-6, 2008 ] Check out the website! li>Fly-In Breakfast -Michigan City, IN [ July 13th ] Indiana Aviation Museum's Corsair,will be there. Wings of Freedom Tour[ July 21-22, 2008 ] The Collings Foundation's "Wings of Freedom Tour" of the WWII B-17G Flying Fortress, B-24J Liberator, B-25J Mitchell and for the first time ever a TP-51C Mustang will offer rides and tours from 2 to 5 p.m. July 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22 and 10 a.m. to noon July 23 at the Porter County Municipal Airport Terminal, 4207 Murvihill Road. Tours cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. B-17 and B-24 rides are $425 donation per person, and B-25 rides are $325 or $400 donation per person depending on position. P-51 flights are $2,200 for 30 minutes and $3,200 for 1 hour. All donations are tax deductible. WWII Veterans are encouraged to attend.FYI: Call (800) 568-8924 Check out the website!
