My Morning Battle Against Nail Fungus With Funginix
January 16th, 2012My weekday morning routine goes something like this. The alarm on my wrist watch goes off at 6.15 am and I quickly shut it off so as not to wake my partner. Sleeps clings to me for 10 more minutes until I force myself upright and into the shower.
After showering I grab my toothbrush and notice a red ribbon tied around it. That’s my signal to treat my stubborn nail fungus infection with Funginix (see review). Not pleasant at all, but it’s got to be done. Applying the nail lacquer regularly is the only way I’ll get rid of my ugly yellow nails according to my dermatologist. I believe her. After all I’ve spent 5 years trying to get rid of the condition without success.
Then its into my work clothes and into the kitchen. If I’m lucky my partner will have got up by now and made me a strong coffee. She normally does and I love her for it. Unfortunately I’ve had to swap eggs and bacon for wholegrain cereal. On some days my partner will sprinkle an encyclopedia of health foods – from amaranth (food of the Aztec gods apparently) to chia seeds and gogi berries (for antioxidant benefits).
Then its out into the morning rush-hour into Brisbane listening to the news and weather. If I plan to exercise that day, I now remember to take an extra pair of socks with me to change into. Another tip from my dermatologist to help combat my fungal nails. She tells me that fungi grow best in warm, moist, and damp environments so its vital I change out of my sweaty exercise socks as quickly as possible.
I’ve got my morning routine down to a T. And I think I’m also winning the battle against my nail fungus infection.
It may not be difficult to find
One of the things that I love the most is having a nice glass of juice every morning. Preferably before everyone wakes up; that for me is one of the most precious moments anyone can have. This technique of waking up a bit earlier than usual is a great one and one that I highly recommend; if you want to know more about it you can check
